really? i.m.o he would have been given the same treatment if not worse at any other team, people can forgive someone who is struggling to reach the skill levels required but is giving 100% effort and commitment, but he was going completely missing in defence and blatantly pulling out of tackles.

He destroyed himself though substandard performances. The fans simply gave him grief as they are entitled to by paying their money to enter the ground. He should have performed better if he wanted to avoid stick. Simple really.

Wan't the worst player we have had, he started the season pretty well and played well for the first 5 or so games, one bad game and his confidence went.

Indeed, we should never have brought him in but he is far from the worst we have ever seen, as for him being "destroyed" by the fans, then that tells you everything, he's a professional (well, semi-professional) RL player, he shouldn't give a monkies what the fans think.

you cant have been watching hull that long if you think he is the worse player ever.

Thorman had been around Super League for years with consistant if not great performances and was the best one year 'fill in' signing available,it was amazing how bad a season he had wth us.

if he'd had played for fc like he did at hudds then he'd have done ok...maybe he wasnt used to seeing/hearing that many fans with him being at hudds the season before and it scared him a little

Well it aint Crooke, we all know he got "No Deal"!

In the scheme of things all in all he is the worst signing I have ever seen in my opinion, we were on a downward spiral from Cooke leaving in 07, but still had some decent players and the brilliance of Adam Dykes when fit we looked a decent side still, after him we were crying out for a good 7 to keep things together, expecting Thorman to be this player was frankly a joke, not all his fault because never in a million years was he a scrum half or playmaker he was given way too much responsibility, that said you can't underestimate how awful he was, signing him as the scrum half practically wrote off a whole season and set us back god knows how many years.
