Yes, relatively low profit food sales where we are the food provision contractor. I used it as an example to show that Rule need not have been a big cheese in RL previously to have the ability to smooth out/improve the operation. The club has a £5M turnover, it's not a massive amount to him I would imagine coming from a business/finance background.
As I said it's not the amount of money but about improving communication (internally & externally), organising, making changes for the good & so on.

However if that cannot be translated into a more successful business in the most important aspect (for us fans success on the field) then a lot of the positive changes & stability financially are overlooked.

You miss the point completely. To my knowledge, rule has never run any company, let alone one turning over a not insubstantial amount, employing dozens of people. What exactly is his business/finance background?

I'm not having a go at rule per se, merely using his appointment as an example of the club's short sightedness in it's senior appointments. rule has also overseen thackerygate, reardongate and now blundersidegate.

Don't know who I'd have in the job as it's not my position to search out the right person. Without a detailed knowledge of the goings on inside the club it's difficult to know what I'd change

Not at all. I always try to argue a balanced view on here. Some will agree and some will disagree. Nothing wrong with that. I can easily understand how many are disillusioned with Hull FC both on and off the field. Argue your case by all means. Unfortunately for you your argument generally degenerates into name calling and such like, hence my original post in this thread. Calling people 'idiots' if they don't agree with you is hardly going to win many debating prizes. It's generally the tactic of someone who's lost the argument.
