The one thing that is worse this season is the fact last year we could say hey look we have no half backs, that's why we aren't scoring tries... The fact our half-backs have played together basically all year is depressing.

And he was one of our better players again. As much as it's daft leaving Berrigan on the bench (without a very good reason), we did look better with Lee on the pitch, particularly at hooker. I wouldn't hesitate in starting with him at 13 and leaving Radford out.

Houghton simply doesn't offer enough. He's great when the pack's dominating and he can scoot after a quick play. He'd have done nothing tonight though, with Wakefield controlling the ruck on both sides of the ball. Until he can develop other areas of his game, he's always going to be a bit-part player, coming in for specific games, but not featuring in most.
