In all honesty Rovers are nowhere near the top of their game. They coasted through the match yesterday and at 18-4 it was all over as a contest. Hull only got into it when the game got scrappy and if can seriously find any positives from the Hull performance yesterday you are indeed just kidding yourself.

Not really. Whilst Hull were pressing the self destruct button the dobbins didn't have enough quality to put the game beyond us. They fed off our mistakes rather than creating anything and struggled when they didn't achieve their desired results from their constant "bombs".

Hull were poor yesterday, very poor, and the top 6 or so sides in the league would probably have scored 30+ points against us.

I console myself that with a decent scrum 1/2, Crocker, Luaiki, Tony, Raynor and a 1/2 decent coach, we'd have a side capable of challenging for the top 4

The bottom line is after only 3yrs in SL we are the top team in the city, put whatever spin on it you like but you know it's the truth! for years i would look upon you with envy knowing that we were behind you and as much as it pained me i admitted it, but the reality now is your only ahead of us in crowds and ground, 9 SL derbies and it's 6-3 to us. do the maths.

Totally true. Take away the ground, the massive difference in the clubs' fan bases, the marketing and merchandising operation, the soon to be built training facilities, the foundation, the sponsorship and commercial side of the business, the youth development, the profitability (losses) of the respective businesses, and you're absolutely inches ahead of us (well you have finished above us once in the last 20 years or so)

Most Rovers fans are happy with where we are in comparison to FC. You have inherent problems within the club that are out of the fans control.

We are working hard with Youth Development and are making great strides.

not sure weather any of you realise that rugby is a TEAM game. rovers have players that work very good within the TEAM. you can keep your collection of so called "better players". give me a team that wants to play with each other and pull together when the going gets tough anyday
