Not an easy selection. Doesn't seem to be an awful lot of scope for dropping players.
Outside backs seems to be a choice between 2 academy players or 1 and someone out of position.

What positions does he want a good run in?

He’s a hooker.

Showed some decent form at half back but we have specialist players for those positions.

He isn’t a centre or a second rower

Brian Smith was a great Coach and the best that I have seen at Hull in turning around and improving the team. He helped turn average club players like Andy Dannatt and Paul Eastwood into Interationals.

Any good Coach, in any era, should be able to improve the existing squad and then further enhance it with player transfers.

I'm quite tempted to not decide if to go or not until the team is announced.

I'd really like to see Martin get a run, reminds me of Briscoe, super strong for his age.

Kye Armstrong a very good player too, but maybe a little early for him.

Biggest deciding factor could be if JJ plays, just can't see what he brings, he is leaving, play Balmforth or another young kid.

It has come from a couple of posters who are are usually more reliable than others when it comes to rumours but yes I find it hard to believe.

Going by the Dan Tomlinson article If indeed he hasn't yet signed a contract I would use his quota spot to sign a specialist hooker to compliment Dwyer. Assuming Houghton is not here next season.

I know the posters, they are mates with certain players, won't have a word said against them, easy to find on twitter or Facebook. I believe they have an agenda.

Saying that it's strange he has hardly played 9, but that could be just down to Hodgson, as he does are alot of strange decisions.

After the mauling last week and general disillusionment I wouldn't be surprised if it's our lowest gate in years.

Plus it's on sky.

He doesn't need to sign a new contract to be here next season.

I'm very much on the fence as to whether to go or not at present though it'll probably be the first game I have ever missed at home intentionally as doubt I'll go and just watch it on Sky on home then I only have to turn it off when things inevitably go south.
