To be honest, I just want him in a position where he's getting more time with ball in hand. He's far too clever a player to be wasted out on the wing. I see him as a McMenemy/Grimaldi type of player if he was to go into the back row: does the basics very well and capable of coming up with something a little bit special from time to time. |

He had loads of ability - great hands. Shame he was always injured. I remember one season he got a decent run without injury (2004ish, I think - I'm crap with dates) and he really looked the part. |

Never guaranteed no such thing , I said it could be happening and we did get contract signings etc as quoted!! and my previous player info all came thro ok over the last month, but I guess they were all just lucky guesses huh |

but if they have already better younger english backs and ones that coming through the system ie stephen marsh who they have high hopes for then surley signing someone like gibson who is average at best would be a backwards step. |
