Just a word on Jamie Shaul. I criticised him a few weeks back as I thought that his form had dipped since midway through 2016. Certainly in terms of try scoring with just two in nineteen games up to the first month of this season. Well he's been very good since then, back to his form early last year. Ten tries in the last ten games too, great to see.

He was very good again last night. He's certainly up there as one of the signings of the season. Time will tell if his second season syndrome strikes again but if so we are probably well placed to adapt rather than be relegated.

Started out at Cronulla 2010, sacked mid way through 2011 after a falling out with head coach. Was playing reserve grade in Newcastle and got to training with the first team in 2012, and was sacked after an incident in a nightclub where he smashed a light.

We all know that it could go wrong, but what a player, form of his life (despite what Rovers fans say), potential to be MOS and if he carries on his form we have a real chance of winning another trophy, so I'm going to enjoy it and keep smirking at the jealous Rovers fans.

you can't be told there are no seats left when there are and in fact unreserved (in East) was never close to being sold out in any case.

Have anyone of our fans said he's not playing well, we all know how good he can be,he was outstanding for us in his 1st season, our player of the season and it was only injury which saw him miss out on a very good chance of a dream team appearance. You'd think he'll have to keep his head at some point and probably age will see him do this, certainly not got as big a self destruct button as rangi, this might be the time.

Indeed, and much as he let himself and Rovers down last year, I'm not going to callus my soul hoping it goes the other way.

Tbf he spent two years playing behind a beaten pack, and we seemed very likely to cut him loose at the end of last year, no matter what, so it would have taken a decent professional to stay focused and motivated. Maybe Radford and your other coaches have turned him into that - kudos, if so.

Don't think there's any Hull fans taking it for granted that his form will be taken into anything long term. Think most are just enjoying his current form and hoping for the best.

Unfortunately, maverick form on the pitch often means maverick behaviour off it.
