Struggle to make metres and get out of our own 20, 30? Have you seen our backline, even without Daniel Vidot it has to be one of the biggest in Super League. Justin Carney, Junior Sa'u, Josh Griffin and Greg Johnson, we certainly wont struggle to get the ball out of our 20/30.

Also forget about Dobson causing you problems, Robert Lui is our biggest danger.

I hope you rely on your backs to get you out, for the full 80, they'll be blowing out they s after 30 mins.

Hearing 13k tickets have been sold, this figure should include season passes but hopefully should be a big opening attendance!

I would say that anything over 11,500/12,000 would be quite amazing really but it has certainly captured the fans imagination!

I'm just hoping for an atmosphere better than the Rovers game. Going to be a few things popping up in the first game by the fans and also by the club. Clarky has been working hard and I'm looking forward to meeting him on Thursday to see what he's been up to behind closed doors. It's about time we got the KC rocking.

With the north stand closed the lower bowl holds about 16k with blocks E1,2 & 3 set aside for away fans (according to the season pass brochure) I recon that's about 1000-1500 empty seats give or take a few so if we have around 12k of home fans we should all be sat quite close together which should create a cracking atmosphere

From what i recall.

Lower bowl is 19k
North stand 4400
East 6000

Which means the east will be lucky to hold 4k Hull fans, (remember that unreserved must be sold 10% under capacity). So its really not a big story the club peddling the old "east stand sell out" line

11000 crowd on Friday

The middle five blocks in the east are reserved which looks more than half on plan so say there's 3k reserved that should give us around 1200 or so unreserved after the taking the 10% off

I think we'll bring a decent following for this game. Decent for us anyway. I think this game could be a real cracker, with your home advantage probably giving you the edge.

Lets hope so but I have to say in general we don't do home advantage very well at Hull FC

Talking to the ticket office today regarding my own season ticket & tickets for some mates and they told me that at the moment, they have sold around 13K tickets including season tickets obviously lol, hopefully we'll get that many, will be a great game & great atmosphere.

With it being the first match of the season I would hope that almost all season ticket holders will be in the ground.

Hope it's true - please FC, don't burst this bubble at the first game.
