The reason we survived the late scare was the wind it was really blowing and the first half we had it at our backs and built a lead, in the second we had to defend our line for long spells, but the lads dug in and held out to a sprightly and lively Cas team.

Great finish to the season by your lads. Love to see our cities youngsters do well. As has been mentioned, only a handful of kids at Hull or Rovers are ineligible next season so it would be great to see us both dominate.
I've said it many times in the past but I'd love to take every West Hull age group over to Wigan St Pats to play them. We would win many more than we would lose. Im certain. Over to Danny Wilson and Pete Greyburn to turn that into Academy supremacy.
The likely Academy merger will ensure it happens and I think that will whet the appetite for a full merger.
