Thanks for this Father Ted. You've hit the nail on the head on this as it's something I certainly think and believe a lot of other fans think. Radders got the job too soon. He'd only been an assistant for two years before getting the top job. One of the reasons that Wane has been successful as have the likes of Anderson and McDermott is because they served their apprenticeships before taking on the big job. They've gained the experience they needed.

Whilst I'm not impressed with Radford I wouldn't go as far as this. I just think he got the job too soon. In the future he might prove to be an excellent coach.

Radford is out of his depth. If he'd started from the basics, it would be good, but we can't even do them right! Our passing and PTB's are slow. Half-backs have been chopped and changed we have ZERO chance of consistency.

So let me get this straight, according to you, a fan who attends as many games as easthull if not more, been a season pass holder for as many years as I care to remember and takes days off from work using his holiday entitlement every season is not a true fan because he is unhappy and upset about the way the club is performing and has the cheek and audacity to dare criticise the mighty Hull FC and it's head coach.
That's right isn't it?
It's this sort of attitude of yourself and the IAKOW brigade that will stifle this club and it's development happy to accept and continue to pay for the substandard dross being offered just because in your heads it makes you true fans. Why does the club need to do anything when it will always have this captive core audience of delusionists.
For me being a true fan isn't blindly following and accepting what the club offers its having pride and passion for your sport and club and wanting the best for your team.
Having Radford as coach has been a total disaster and failure. The negativity being voiced on here is born out of passion for the club and from fans hurting at how badly and at how poor we have become and how far we have regressed.

Very well put. Because our glasses aren't Black and White striped it appears that we're not allowed to have an opinion as we're not "real" supporters. I've been following this team since the late 1940's and have seen the good and the bad many times and feel perfectly justified in criticising when I consider its necessary. When we're doing well I'll shout as loud as the next man. At the moment I, and many others, feel we are being short-changed in terms of performance and whilst I'm a big fan of Adam Pearson he needs to listen to what the fans are saying and take the appropriate action, or explain to us why he won't.

Not been supporting them as long as you but that's how I feel.
I would support my team in the championship or league 1 if that's as good as we were and the best we could aspire too as long as we were competitive.
We are currently not competitive and massively under performing.
No one expects us to rule SL but surely a club as big as ours with the resources on offer should at least be imo a top 6 team with the right coach at the helm.

I have defended ears in the past, but our club has got worse since his coaching appointment, so fans are entitled to an opinion, just as much as we are, he will be here next season, no matter what results come in or league position we end up, so folk will have to come to terms with it, still entitled to gripe about it though, but it does become tedious, when the posts will have no real effect on AP.

We are all hull supporters,but because people aren't happy with what is going on and voice their opinion which dosn't agree with you dosnt make them less of a supporter.I'll be honest radford said he would walk if he couldn't do the job and a glance at the league table says it all.He should be on his way,but do you think he will be ?

Well if we don't the KC is going to be a very empty place.

I know fans are disappearing faster then a buffet at a tramps 50th! But if we improve hopefully they will return. So sad to see people frustrated & down about FC, it hurts to see my (our) club not performing, but I'm sticking with it...after me hols of course. Lol

This statement is what annoys me the most, and its probably the same for most fans. Yes we can only improve, but you're saying this like we've had years of finishing in the bottom 2 or 3 in the table, like London/Bradford. The point is that its Radford who has taken us back and continues to do so. This season has been terrible and we're saying we can only improve??

I was watching NRL 360 yesterday, they were talking about Benny moving to the Dragons. It was mentioned that every coach who is asked to or applied to coach a team, will base his decision on 2 factors. 1, How can I take the club forward, and 2, can I achieve equal or greater success with the current squad and minor admissions, as the previous coach. I personally don't believe that Radford can do either.

The saving grace for Radford is that there is no one to stab him in the back like he did to PG. Oh and AP has put all his eggs in the 'local' basket

Agreed. Whilst the statement maybe true it is for me a damning inditement of the current set up that they have taken a team and made it worse. If you are going to get rid of a coach you have to make sure the one you replace them with is a better replacement and will improve things both short & long term

Radford for me does not offer this. As for club Hull etc that's all well and good building up to that but I still want a team that is successful & good to watch whether local players or not.
