Think people are getting mixed up. AP withdrew the contract offer because he wasn't prepared to sign before the deadline AP set. After that deadline he was gone. Leeds hasn't poached him.

As far as I was aware, Briscoe has kept his mouth shut on this so he hasn't let anyone down. He certainly hasn't lied to anyone.

Fair play to Briscoe, it must have been mightily frustrating playing in a team that uses its fasted players as a last resort whilst watching the likes of Hall and Charley get decent service and racking up loads of tries each season.

Briscoe gave good service to Hull, shame the service from his Centre was something like the same.

I don't have a problem with Tom signing for Leeds. He probably needs a change of scenery TBH. I'm sad for him that he didn't get an NRL deal but once that fell through and Hull withdrew their offer he didn't have many options.

He is a quality player deserves to play for a team like Leeds or Wigan. It would have been a tragedy for him if he had ended up at one of the lesser clubs he was rumoured to be linked with - Castleford, Salford or Rovers.

Why ? Leeds got rid of a player who was surplus to requirements and not good enough and paid a wage less, at the same time got a plyer of potential for nowt. Time will tell and I suspect Luke will not make the grade at Leeds but Tom will set the world on fire outside a high quality which he has never had the luxury of playing outside !

Better than charnley and hall?. Imo i don't think so. Charnley plays with a better centre at Wigan but makes lots himself. And to be fair to him, even on loan at rovers he showed he was quality. Good player but imo not better than those 2.

Trouble is we have an ageing pack who didn`t offer much this year apart from Delaney when fit and JP.

It's obviously to late now but Toms asked if there is anyway he could still resign for us . Some of the things I've been told today about Gentle and Especially the old conditioner are mind blowing , Ogre told him straight how useless he was .
