Yes I do know and I wasn't for one minute blaming the bbc just saying with sky sports having a dedicated sports news channel it would probably be done live on there if sky had the rights.

I'm pretty sure they do they've just chosen not to broadcast one of the games? They definitely showed a couple of games last season because I watched Fev Wigan on Sky Go.

The thing is, Bacon is far from poorly educated, he's just disinterested, they didn't even have a sports reporter on hand to assist him. Given that George Riley is "Mr Rugby League" I'd have thought he'd be stamping his feet about not getting the gig for a ten minute slot, but he wasn't, he took to Twitter to defend Bacon at any cost.

5Live is becoming a bit of a joke, it's gone down the drain in recent months, coincidentally since it's moved to Salford for some reason.

Yeah I thought they had some rights and remember watching a cc game on sky last year but they haven't shown any this year so maybe they've lost the rights they had.

BBC have 1st pick on 2 of the QF's and SKY can show remaining two games.

According to League Express all four of the QF's could be on TV with SKY showing a game on the Friday & Monday only exception to this is if Catalan are drawn at home and the BBC don't pick it then SKY will not cover that game.

Think it's very poor that we still don't know when the draw will take place.....

CC games should always be on a Saturday or a Sunday.

The RFL don't get to say what the SL club chairmen can and can't vote on. SL is owned outright by the clubs that comprise it at any given time and they can do pretty much whatever they like with it. It's surprising the number of people who don't realise that SL is privately owned and the RFL merely administer it on behalf of the owners.

Below SL the RFL have more say but are still constrained in certain matters by their constitution which grants certain rights to the clubs that comprise the lower leagues. As an example, they were not able to force the then NL1 clubs to admit us to their league when the merger was being organised.

British RL is far more democratic than most people realise - whether for good or ill.

So no draw yet. No-one knows when it is! Another RL shambles. No main sponsor, general media profile is pants, Stobart fiasco, non stop tinkering wth absolutey everything, general laughing stock! We seem to have a professional sport serving up a great product (hudds v leeds was a case in point) which is run by amateurs. If the chiefs at RL HQ can't do the job then time to step aside. Must drive the likes of AP round the twist!

Thats what I was thinking. Surely at the start of the show they will give you an idea what time it will be on.

Surely the best time to do it would be during one of the sports bulletins...
