Managed to get Noel Gallagher tickets at the Enmote theatre, saves me going to the boganfest that is Big Day Out.

Saw Bryan Adams at the M.E.N Manchester last night. Was a great gig, 2.5hrs non stop went by so quick.

Roll on Def Leppard week on Tuesday, then Thunder Christmas week before Christmas!!!!!

Probably the best live band iv ever seen, seen them 4 times now. The only band that iv seen better live was Supergrass.

I went to see Peppers in manchester a couple of weeks back. Absolutely outstanding. Despite been a massive John Frusciante fan, got to say their new stuff with Josh Klinghoffer on guitar is really fresh sounding.

Best gig I've seen by far has to be Foo Fighters in Milton Keynes! Awesome weather, 90,000 fans and Biffy Clyro support. Best And consistent rock band IMO! still smashing out albums after so many years in the industry!

saw the lemonheads in sheffield the other night and whilst i enjoyed it, evan dando seemed to be going through the motions a bit - not much said to the audience and rushed through a few songs. that said they played a good set with the whole of the 'shame about ray' album plus some other choice tunes mainly from the 2 albums that followed ray, but also a couple of fan faves as well such as divan and ride with me. no big gay heart or into your arms though

going to london next weekend to see the manic street preachers play all 36 of their singles in one gig at the o2 should be a special night - even though it is in a terrible venue

I had my eye on that. Chose to buy tickets to see Inspiral Carpets at Leadmill next March instead.

Saw them at Leeds Fest in 2006, first festival after Roskilde. Pearl Jam always give a great show, saw them in Manchester in 2009 and it was superb. They'll be ace at IOW.

Sultans of Ping next unless anything changes before. Would have loved to see Manics at O2 but could not get there.

Agree thought both Crue & Def Leppard were excellent particularly Tommy Lee and his 360 Rollercoaster Drum kit.

Just goes to show when you can actually play music and decent music at that you don't ever lose it, although think age has caught up with the voices or both Vince Neil & Joe Elliott, but still banged out the songs all the same.

Went to Rock City last night saw an awesome gig by Thunder. Those guys can still play and know how to rock. Tickets booked to see The Boss in June too

yeah, saw both of those shows as well - manchester gig spoiled a bit by people not wanting to stand up when the band were on, telling us to sit down - i hate this, its a rock show for god's sake

Got tickets to see Coldplay at the Etihad stadium on 10 Jun.We play the derby at the Etihad 2 weeks before so hopefully i will be going back for a happy return.

They're quite busy at that Etihad place, we go and see Springsteen there on the 22nd June. Wonder if the KC could ever hold events as regular as this?
