Tom Briscoe is a very very good RL player already at such a young age, could easily develop into one of the best players of the SL era. If Hull made him available at the end of the season just about every SL club would be in for him.

No not really, he's at one of the biggest clubs in SL whose franchise will never be in doubt and the poor form won't last forever, think he probably looks a little more at the bigger picture than you do.

I think he has sacrificed a little pace for more bulk but not by huge amounts and his strength overall in todays modern game more than compensates for that IMO. Saying that I'd love to have a 15/16 stone winger who could run an 11second 100m in boots with ball in hand who can step like Phil Bennett, Gerald Davies, Scott Gibbs or our own Paul "Taffy" Prendiville

Briscoe caught Menzies, who had a 30 meters head-start, and nearly put him into touch, great skill by Menzies to put the ball down.

I love the fact he is having a good at people's spelling when he doesn't know who to use capital letters and fullstops.

not because he isn't good enough for us, he is and would improve our team imo.

Your clearly a moron. How did Phelps do his job very well when fox simply stepped him and would have walked in under the posts had Tom not caught him? Phelps did not prevent Fox scoring at all he simply slowed him down slightly allowing Brisoce to actually stop him. If Phelps had done his job "very well" he would have tackled Fox himself.

Actually Phelps was very good as was Briscoe. They both kept their heads looked at what the the other was doing/where each was going and Fox was under pressure because of it and slowed to step inside. Thought they worked well together with Phelps doing enough to allow Briscoe to make the easier tackle from behind.

Watching the replay on SL show, i reckon he would have caught Fox anyways
