On reflection he could have said that the club are as frustrated as the fans at the lack of results. That the return from the last 13 games is simply not good enough and there are expectations that it needs addressing very quickly. What we actually got was that the players think Agar is the dog's bollox and that's plenty good enough. Oh, and that because Leeds and Bradford are rubbish that makes it OK that we are. I'm seething. Crosser than Nobby in fact.

Hes taking the p!ss out of the fans, i expect him to back Agar to an extent, but he should have acknowledged the fact that results are terrible, but to come out and say "the players think hes a great coach etc etc"

TBH I expected some support for Agar but to try and gloss over events completely was just plain stupid. Guess the players will be chuffed that he essentially said that they're too thick to carry out Agar's instructions as well. He would have been better advised to stay away from the media and say nowt.

I wouldn't necessarily jump to any conclusions about how safe Agar's job is from tonight. As soon as it becomes expedient to get rid of him he'll be gone so fast that all you'll see is motion blur.

It would be nice to get some genuine honesty from time to time. It's just shows pure contempt for the fans at times I feel.

They will be rightly accused of backing a clown for years and not seeing the clown for what he is , because they were happy with his salary.

They will be under so much pressure to replace with a BIG name WORLD CLASS COACH and that salary will be 2-3 x what Agar was on. I reckon they are saving up for a big name.

Not sure whether it's contempt or just a lack of empathy. Certainly if his comments have been accurately reported on here then it's one of the more cack-handed attempts to handle a difficult situation. While he can't come out and publicly criticise the coach he could have phrased things to at least acknowledge the concerns of the fans.

Didn't hear the programme but, if what has been said on here is accurate then, despite all the communication avenues available to the club with the fans it is clear that the bod is further removed from us than ever before. I think it would be nice to know what the bod goals where for 2011. I got the feeling before the season started that all the talk was geared towards a good 2012 and that seems to be the case now. I criticised Jon Wells before the season as he predicted us to finish 10th that's looking beyond us at the moment.
We have a relatively fully fit squad and whilst half backs have been in and out we have had "specialist" in those roles. Yet our attack stats are the 3rd worst in the league. We are over reliant on Ogre and fitz and still totally incapable of playing well for 40 mins let alone 80.

But Ruley, Kath and the players are all as one and happy. God I hope I wake from this mare soon before I drift too far from the club I love.
