| Quote ="Graham Richards"Ian generally speaking I agree with this and most of what you put, but without sounding like Ja Rule Quins have done 2/3rds of what you ask for this season, Leeds and Sts away. We have gone to their back yard and come away with a very spirited victory at a place we hardly ever win.
Its a small start and I believe a sign that the players are behind the coach. If they are to a man then we can see things grow. A couple of back to back victories and we will see confidence grow. Unfortunately at the moment its very fragile. The crowd is hostile and the players anxious. We were 10 mins away from mass cries of Agar out yesterday but the players responded and so did the fans.
Demonstrations during a game do not help the players. Equally censorship from the club is a massive no no. Those responsible should be ashamed of themselves. That can undo years of great off field work. That is the danger now.'"
Thanks for that and I see and agree with what you are saying, I hope we have turned a corner. The trouble is we have had numerous occassions in the last three years similar to this and these have all faded away.
We have to try and keep together, we can disagree but we must respect each others views.

The two pi***d up fans were all up for causing a bit of trouble with their fellow supporters in the car park!! Pretty sad t***s when that's how they want to behave.Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but when certain fans decide on getting sozzled to the point of arguing or threatening fellow fans,it's a sad day.
And their 'Banner' attached to the coach soon disappeared

Lol once again I get the usual comment
Most dictators are by there very title, murderous .
I could have used different ones from recent times Sadam,Honicker, Pol Pot, or even Chauchesku. The Libyan regime is certainly no better then them and stiffling oppostition is all part and parcel of oppression.
I have a relation who is out in the theatre serving his country to oppose the Gaddafi regime and I would certainly not wish to downgrade or insult anything that him or the job our armed services are doing in our name .
To blow this out of all proportion and over look everthing else is fairly typical of some posters on here at times. I have complained before about posters on here being shouted down, belittled etc and I can see why they no longer even look at the board any more.

I didn't comment on the rest of your post because, by and large, I agreed with the sentiments. The Gadaffi thing just leapt out as tasteless and OTT, an opinion I stand by. I neither belittled you nor shouted you down, I simply expressed an opinion on something you posted.
If you look at the rest of the thread I've agreed that the club were wrong to request the removal of the banner(s) and that Quins were wrong to agree to do so. I simply didn't feel the need for extra drama when doing so.

| The club have the banner taken down yesterday and then today they get Ja Rule and Mark O'Meley to come out saying what an unbelievable performance it was at The Stoop. I just wish the club would stop putting out 'spin' all the time - it's doing them no favours at all. All we needed after yesterday was Agar's reaction and maybe that of one of the players who was actually involved in the game. Ruley needs to keep himself out of the media and let the team do the talking on the pitch.

To be fair to Rule (as much as I hate doing so) he can't win, as CEO he is the public face of the business, especially if Agar's position is in question (as I am sure it will be, albeit eventually)
We won, simple fact is that was the outcome, what we need to do is to get to a point where we've won more than we've lost, and that day is a fair way off.

Rule was also prepared to talk to supporters before the game at the front of the east stand, which he could have avoided if he wished to.

| That was the point I was making - we don't need loads of rallying calls etc. We just need to win games as that will do more talking than anything the club can put on their website or in the paper. Winning yesterday was a start and now we have to back it up this Friday.

| i was at quinns on sunday ,i went to support the team ,by that i mean the group ,coaches backroom staff and players ,thats what the team is ,there all as responsible as each other for the preformance in my opinion ,the problem with putting out banners havin a go at a part of that group is it upsets the rest of the group especially the players they hate it so it really does no good especially at the start of the match plus if you hang it up it makes other supporters look like there supporting it as well which is why i dint like it tbh
i think all fans have the right to say there peace ive said mine a few times and i think it could be time for a change in direction myself ,but i will always go and support the group ie the club including the coach ,if we get a bad display then vioce your flustrations like last week at home, but lets not get into banners and t shirts ffs, if you dont like it just stay at home like somone posted the other week when the club starts been hit in the pocket thats when they will act
I would prefare to behave like supporters of the club while at the match ,thats why where the Faithful isnt it ,in any kind of weather remember the song .

Dont think you fully understand about the banner. The guy who's banner it was cares passionatly about HULL.F.C. ....is he not allowed to make his protest ?
What right have you to tell people what to do at games ? Are you a Harlequins steward in disguise ???

| everybody has a right to voice their opinions, but during the game, the fans should be fully behind the team, wait until the final hooter or like the wakey game for the chants to start and banners come out, watching the two being ejected thy gave verbals and hand gestures to fellow fc fans, so no sypmathy from me for them

I do remember that song, however that was not the song being sung by 1000s at the last home game was it!!
Fans pay their money and have a right to make protests if they wish, it clearly does not make them less of a supporter.

| I think we as Hull supporters? ( is that what you are supposed to do, support) have shown a total lack of class with the chants, banners and t- shirts of Agar out.it is totally counter productive during a match and put's us as fans in a really bad light in the rugby league community and to any future potential coaches or players. Look at the fans at a great club like Liverpool, they wanted change in Roy Hodgson and organised protests before and after matches but, during the games the focused on supporting the team. That is class and I am afraid our supporters have shown a real lack of it on a mass scale.

You are correct in the fact that unrest has been displayed on a mass scale (chants), however it is not the fans who are lacking any class, it is the club by pursing with a coach who is unable to deliver consistent results, it is not the fans who will be come under fire at the end of the day by other players, coaches and fans just look where we are placed in the league it says it all.

| I am not backing Agar in anyway shape our form. Coaches should always be assessed on results ( and to leser extent performances although both usually go hand in hand). What I am saying is we are there to support our team. We go and take our kids to enjoy ourselves in any kinda weather but all we are achieving at the moment is creating a hostile environment for our own supporters and team which is totally counter- productive and puts us in a really bad light. You only need to look at the recent comments of a great of the modern game Craig Fiztgibbon to see what sort of atmosphere we are creating. Also, our best player of the season, o'meley, has also vented his frustration in print and in person about some of our fans behaviour. We all my want a change of coach but their are better ways of going about it. Show some class

Sorry I was unaware this was a private forum. Season pass holder 100 mile round trip every home game and do away all alongM62. I am no less a supporter because I don't have time ( or desire) to post on here every day ( but I do read it most days). This is exactly the right time for unity, when you are facing adversity.
