I don't read that as a whinge or a failure to 'man up', more an admission that he cares about the flak coming from the fans. Would you rather he stated a complete disinterest in what we think? He also states that despite what's going on they need to stay focused. Not sure how that can be considered in any way controversial.

I'd rather he was concerned that we lost, not that the fact we lost puts pressure on Agar.

It's an article in the HDM. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the questioning focussed on Agar and Long's feelings about that rather than the general performance issues.

More concerning in that piece are the comments about us 'not being far off' and 'nothing major needs changing'.

The key part of the article is Long saying he has had no contact from Saints....YET. So he's hardly likely to say he's be interested in going back before they have even called.

If there was a separate comp for 'training the house down' we'd be in the final every year!!! I'm glad we do 'train the house down' though. We've won 2 out of the last 11 games by doing that - I'd hate to think what would happen if we only trained half the house down.....

Me too, if anyone needed replacing it was Horne who was shocking. Long looked quite sharp but is an easy target for the fans.

Obst looks the best of the three IMO.

Would still play him at hooker off the bench tbh but he has done well. The thing is Obst would have made no difference on Friday imo.
