Pretty sure that is how we will line up on Sunday too.

agreed, our halfback weakness' is a real worry for the forthcoming season...and if god forbid anything happens to fitz and or o'meley for a sustained period of time then i can see us in jon wells prediction place of 10th....

Your not wrong , lets hope we can have better luck this term in the halfs with much less injuries !!
However when we look at the cover we are actually much better off because we have a number of senior players and juniors this time around who can all do a job in that area namely, Long, Horne, Turner, Westerman and others so not as dire as it may seem.

As someones already said i wouldnt be surprised if this was the line up and id be quite happy with that...if Hornes fit turner to centre manu bench.

im not sure why people are too dissapointed. i wasnt too bothered if we won or lost. First game of the season, a decent hit out. and lots of things to work on. We had some good moments in the game too. Its a long road yet

anyone got any news on horne wether he will be fit for leeds unlikely i would of thought but dont know but presuming he isnt fit and i would possibly rest radders with his injury then the a possible lineup for leeds could be

If Phelps is not and Horne is not fit then Whiting to FB and Turner to 6, leave Obst to come on from the bench.

I would be happy with that lineup Paul but you know as well as I do that Westerman won't play 13 unless Fitz gets an injury.

Do you not think penciling in Horne is disruptive? He's been a fantastic servant for the club but looking in from outside I know he isnt going to play 3/4 games straight before injury strikes again.

Better tell the club this, and it now seems pointless to try and get him fit if he will get injured after a few games.

Spot on. As I said earlier Rich Horne's body is physically incapable of withstanding the rigours of SL and there's 3 or 4 years worth of evidence to prove it.

I always hear 'oh Horney was showing glimpses of the old magic until he got unlucky with xyz injury' but it doesn't mean anything. You could put Swain or Jason Smith out there and they'd show the odd glimpse of what they used to be able to do, it doesn't for a second mean they are physically up to it anymore.

Obviously Horne would be a fool to walk out on the remaining year of his contract but he should never have been given it in the first place. If he was an Aussie import rather than a local lad he'd get far less patience and sympathy from the fans.

That said we're stuck with him for this year at least so there's no harm in hoping he defies the odds and manages to stay injury free.

You mean like in 2009 when he played 25 out of 28 games?
