Well, it needs answering!

One women said we had signed Chase then when questioned about him playing yesterday suggested it was a ploy to "keep our cards close to our chest".

Agar sees westerman as someone who can run lines?

Ah ok, I thought the fact that the CEO of Crusaders made a point of making a news story dispelling the rumour put that one to bed.

Squad numbers generally reflect where a player will play, though. If not we may as well give Briscoe the 10 shirt, O'Meley the 7 and have Long at 13.

Tansey, Briscoe, Yeamo, Whiting, Sharp, Horne, Long, Radford, Houghton, O'Meley, Westerman, Tickle, Fitzgibbon Subs: Hame (prop), Moa, Manu and Washy (hooker) seems to be the likely team.

With Westerman and Fitzgibbon swapped around, I'd be quite happy with that as a starting 17. Just need a back up half now. Mr 20, come on down!

Why does it matter? If anything I'd suggest having an extra pivot in the 2nd row (like Galea/McMenemy) would be more useful than having another one down the middle of the pitch (where theoretically Tansey/Horne/Long will operate).

Was confused at first to why they would sign a loose man and give him a back-rower's number. Then I thought back to what I said about the talk of Fitzy playing prop, a number on his shirt won't change his game. Westy will play the same game he is used to, regardless of the number on his shirt.

Westerman runs great lines and can goast through gaps, playing him in a more structured role may do him wonders.

Wether we like it or not there's not many sides who play with 4 pivots.
