It's not a valid comparison I agree. If Chelsea didn't have the rich backer that absorbs the losses the prices would be much higher. In fact I'd suggest Scott makes the most of it while he can because their are plans to bring in new rules to force clubs to live within their means in the premiership so the days of rich backers absorbing large losses will be over. Either prices will be going up or players wages will be going down. I think we all know which will happen.

As for the FC season pass, it is very good value but only because the walk up price is very high, which is probably why we have such excellent season pass sales figures. I think we have made the decision to renew in the east stand and just hope we don't get sat near some cretins for the whole season without the option of moving anymore.

Yes. The process is already quite far along according to an article I was reading. The Portsmouth situation will not be allowed to happen again. Rather than a salary cap, clubs will just not be allowed to spend more than they earn.

Obviously i see what your saying but all im saying is £24 is alot of money to watch the current Hull FC team. I cant help but look what else i can spend £24-£30 on not only Chelsea.

Their are changes to rules and procedures all the time. It's not the FA stopping goal line technology anyway it's UEFA. I can't remember where the article was from but I caught the football program that's on sky on a Sunday morning this week week and they were discussing it almost as if it's a done deal. Now feel free to dismiss it if you wish but I'll take those opinions over your offhand complete dismissal of the idea for the time being. 5 years ago I'd have agreed that it was highly unlikely but the climate has changed and it seems far more likely that this will happen.

A few years ago I would have agreed but now I would not be so sure, in 5 years time with one or two big clubs potentially in trouble it could easily happen.

They wont let teams like Real, Barca, Man Utd, Chelsea, Inter, AC etc slip and slip.

It will kill the game which is why i cant see it happening. They've been talking about this type of stuff for years from salary cap to quotas, and nothings happened.

Did you miss the part where Man Utd have already been through it on a trial basis and passed the criteria? If you want to bury your head in the sand and keep telling yourself it won't happen then fair enough but as Kosh pointed out earlier, it's already been agreed.
