Lee will regret his actions. The most worrying aspect is that a man of Ryan Bailey's intelligence seems to regularly prove too smart for RFL match officials. That really is a sad indictment of Mr Cummings and his staff.

If Radford had have hit anybody else apart from Bailey he would be getting criticised by everyone on here. Just because it is Bailey doesn't make it right or acceptable.

Radford didn't even seem to connect properly and still opened him up. I personally think Bailey deliberately elbowed Radford but i don't expect a Leeds fan to agree. Radford was an idiot for reacting.
Still, yellow card was sufficient IMO.

Yes I do but as I said every game you see players kicking, pushing and elbowing to try and get the tackler off of them. A player of Radford's 'leadership qualities' should know alot better to start throwing punches on somebody on the floor.

This is the thing I fail to understand. Several of the Leeds fans seem quite proud of Bailey's 'efforts' today. If we had to resort to such tactics to win games then I for one would feel ashamed. For me there is no feeling like knowing that you have beaten the opposition fair and square!

Watch the game back and see how many times Briscoe kicks out when he gets tackled so he is trying to basically kick the player who has tackled him off. I wonder what the response would be if somebody took a boot to the face off of him and decided to punch him while he was on the floor.

I would have preferred Radford not to have reacted as well. But I also would imagine that he felt under pressure as a result of fielding 2 deliberate cheap shots to his skull - not something seen every week as you seem to think. And I wouldn't for one second pretend to know what it must be like in the heat of the moment in a highly charged SL match in the front row, and therefore would never take a 'holier than thou' stance by criticising someone who has been there and done it for donkey's years.

If I thought that ANY of our players had DELIBERATELY kicked an opposing player in the face then my reaction would be that he deserved whatever response came his way and a sin-binning at least.
