On a massively reduced salary he could be the answer to our lack of creativity in the halves. Wont happen though. (but i bet Yeamo is praying it does)

PC is already only on a fraction of what he earned from FC during his last term with us, however I personally have said publicly and in private that i would not turn down PC if he were available for the right money because as is said often on here there is no sentiment in sport and if he can do a job which he clearly can then I would rather him do it for us than anyone else!! and he is the sort of link we miss!!
However I doubt the Mrs hetherington will ever employ him again ...
and for what its worth 99% of the playing staff dont have any issues with him

Setting history aside for a minute (I will come back to it), he'd be a good signing for Hull, given how rarely you get Long and Horne out together.
Derbies aside he was rarely brilliant for Rovers, and his price now would reflect that - but he was also rarely poor.
Behind a strong pack and with a point to make, I reckon he has one last shake in him.

Back in the real world, the idea has been rejected by senior Hull FC figures so many times, it doesn't seem feasible. He'd be decent, I suspect, but not good enough to justify the hassle/outcry.

i think hes had his time in hull and many wouldnt welcome him , his off the field problems will always be with him, and he still hasnt grown up !

Cookie was in the West Stand watching on Friday (apologies if mentioned elsewhere).

I remember wondering how he would react to either team scoring or where his loyalties lied but became far too engrossed in the game to care once it kicked off.

I wasn't there myself, but by the sounds of it some behaved badly, although I suppose we could try to divert attention and claim they were rugby fans, but that sortof tactic's very feeble
