I'd keep Dowes as he's younger than Radford, and I don't we'll be able to bring in 3 British props. Cusack can go aswell. Get in Louis McCarthy Scarsbrook and Mike Cooper.

Problem with Dowes/Radford and Cusack is they are pretty much the same player. With Cusack off at the end of the season i would only be looking to get rid of one of the other two. And with Radfords run of little niggles etc it should be him to leave. Although they dont offer much to the team each side has at least one in their side.

that's been the issue for a long while, we need 1 or at a push 2 of that type of player to get the defensive work done...but we don't need three.

Radford has been offered a 2 year deal ...if he isn't offered a deal at Hull Ive heard.

If Hull offer him a 2 year deal than we are even more stupid than I thought, i ahve a bad feeling that if Rovers offer him a 2 year deal we will panic and offer him the same.

Agree with these posts, we need a workhorse type prop and Dowes fits the bill.

Dowes, Cusack and Radford have probably taken some unfair flak on here but the facts are we don't need three such players in the squad (never mind the XVII).

Wouldnt offer Dowes a deal. I'd offer Radford the 2 year deal but at a heavily reduced salary. If Rovers beat that they can have him.

Leaves us plenty of cap space to bring in a couple of good props. I'd target a young prop from somewhere too.

Get rid of Dowes , Cusack and Radford all donkeys. How any of these 3 have kept Sam out of the side is beyond me!

You would really offer radford a 2 year deal after his performances of the last 3 years, has he had one great game in that time, would be a shocking decison.

I wouldnt offer him or Dowes a 2 years deal, but due to lack of good props available we will have to keep one, and personally i think Dowes is slightly better player, less injury prone, younger and would guess cheaper.

Certainly not donkeys just workhorse props but we dont need 3, in fact one would be enough, losing all three would be hard to replace from the English props available.

If we replace Cusack with a go forward prop (LMS?) I have no real problem with having Dowes and Radford here next season, as long as they aren't on the pitch at the same time for long periods of games.

Dont see why everyone is calling to get rid of Dowes to be honest

Radford wants a two year deal , Hull only looking at offering him a 1 year deal. Rovers have supposed to have offered him 2 years.

Yep. 32 next March and enough old heads in the pack with Fitz (assuming he stays), Ogre, Berro, Manu, probably Dowes. Problem is recruiting 2 decent replacements for him and Cusack. Looks like, with Tickle rumoured to be going as well and Calderwood's ongoing injury issues that it might be a busy recruitment campaign for 2011. Somewhat disappointed that we're nearly in May and no rumour thread up and running yet.

If Tickle was to go then I'd look to sign Paul Clough.
