Lauaki was ineffective again today!

I'm talking about Luaki.

He will be if we don't use him correctly. He ran hard enough and caused a few problems with ball in hand but gets no service.

He played more game time today because of the makeup of out squad and i thought he was one of our better players.

Problem we seem to have is there is no support for anyone who breaks a tackle or creates a hole, there were a number of times yesterday when the chance to off load was there but when the player looked round they were alone as no one had bothered backing up the ball carrier.

Missed a couple of one on one's but in the main I thought he did well.

That's a fair point Paul, however the one missed tackle led to a try for Leeds. It did appear that Senior didn't fancy taking on Lauaki in the tackle though.

The 'incident' was very unclear to see.

A ruck of players involved and people assume it's Bailey.

One thing that was worth noting is that Lauaki took the big hit. Everyone else seemed to have a problem with it. He just wanted to get on with it. Maybe he understands that big hits are part of the game.

The RFL will look at it and confirm whether it was legal or not. As long as it's a fair result - no complaints from me.

But you guys and your players got sucked into what Bailey does best. Wins the mental battle and gets the opposition players playing from their hearts and not from their heads or game plan.

After that incident Bailey took the ball up, the Hull players flocked towards him to get some kind of 'justice'. 3/4 Hull players went looking for him in the tackle - Bailey kept the ball carrying arm away from the impact and popped out a lovely offload.
