Eastwood was budgeted for on their cap last season, he just had Visa problems so couldn't come over. |

They will have been under last season, they had budgetted for Eastwood but he never came and they never replaced him. The young players they brough in this year will just have replaced the like of Gibson, Broughton and one or two other youngsters that left.
Delaney was brought in to replace Smith, however maybe they have a little left for this year which maybe Smith is willing to accept and then they can pay him more in the following seasons. Senior will stop at some point so Delaney and Smith would be the ideal partnership for them. |

Ok fiar enough, but it doesn't emplain how they can sign Delaney with Smith wages (must be simalar) and then still sign Smith back.
And thats without the signings of Pitts, Amor and Coady.
Leeds really work the salary cap well. |

I would hope that Wakins is Senior replacment, Smith on the wing to replace Donald.

Why do people get so stressed about other teams cap?
FYI, All of Leeds squad for this year was signed before Smith turned down the contract offer from Leeds.
Smith was already budgeted within the salary cap. He turned it down and went. As long as IF Smith came back he was playing for the same contract value Leeds offered, then it would be under the cap.
I think people just tend to forget that Eastwood was originally signed for last year, and included in that budget. He is not a new addition to our cap this year.'" |

So you are just guessing that Leeds were up to the full cap in signing Delaney?
Toopi & Scrutton were never "replaced" like for like on the cap
Also Gibson, Ellis, Broughton, Ratu, Allen etc have all moved on in the last couple of years |
