Reminds me of Tony Grimaldi a bit, if only for the way he sweeps up everyone's errors and holds it all together.

He's an over the hill aussie come over for a holiday. At least thats what some were saying. Pure quality.

He brought us leadership by example. His workrate was the highest on the field, but more importantly he brings patience to us. There were times he was telling the players to wait before executing certain plays. He also has a great offload, which will bring points by the bagful once everyone out there learns to read him (although Tansey already does - obviously as ex team-mates from last year).

I think he is just a pure professional, he clearly takes every aspect of his game professionally including fitness.

No matter what was happening last night Fitz always seemed to be in the thick of it. His bald head is like a magnet to the action.
He tackled like a machine and defended with the energy of a 20 year old.

They certainly do. My brother and sister are massive roosters fans despite living in Brisbane (will never understand not supporting your home town club) and are gutted.

Just playing the way he did at Roosters....nothing short of a machine....like the way he gets up and glowers at people who have tackled him....give Robinson some right looks.

Me and Mrs BM couldn't believe this guy's performance last night. Absolutely top class, and people who think he is over the hill, think again.

On page 59 of the programme I saw a spot the difference photo with three players (Fitz being one of them). I thought, well one's tall and bald , one is.... then I saw there was a second photo...

I was only thinking that this morning. If he stays fit all season (and hopefully next) and plays like he has the last two games, he'll be up there with the greats, I reckon.
