Our opinions reflect the city we live in, it affects us in Hull more than it affects people from more "affluent" areas.

I've not lost touch of the xenephobic racists that drag their collective knuckles around the streets of Hull, who conveniently forget the role migrants and immigrants paid in building the city in the first place.

You think Hull has problems, try Leicester, Nottingham, Birmingham, London Boroughs, believe me, Hull is way down the list of areas that have been "dumped on".

Hull suffers because of the insular attitude of SOME of it's inhabitants, amazing how you don't like migrant workers, unless of course they are Aussies who can pass or kick a ball.

The answer to most of these problems is education, sadly we are not very competent at it in certain parts of the country.
My father is originally from Birmingham and has told me how Hull haven't got that bad a problem.

We and the Americans are still at it to an extent, trying to push our western beliefs on middle eastern societies. I just get the feeling that if we left them alone they would us.
