I don't know what you all think but seeing his credentials and his track record I think that the club would have a win win situation here. If Agar does well then he will support him and it could be down to the new asistant, if he does'nt they may just have a coach in waiting! Quite an exciting appointment if true!

| Guess nobody from the HDM have been on here today as it hasnt made the paper yet.
Sounds a good appointment to me, I think this will benifit Agar, if not then as Wilf says we have a coach on waiting.
Sad as it is Aussie coachs always seem to be better.
Looking good on and off the field next season, after watching the last two seasons very disapointed that I wont see a game live next year.  |

I think its a good move by the club. Last year we did lack experience within the club on and off the field. Its been addressed on the field by signing experience players and now we have some more in the coaching department.We will now hopefully have some fresh ideas on and off the field. You have got to congratulate the club for actually doing something to address these issues. It cant be any worse than the last few years.

This will be interesting, simply because we have an assistant coach who understands how the game should be played as well as new incoming players fromAustralia who you would call professional. On the downside we have Richard Agar, and his 5 drives and a poor kick mentality. How long do you think you think it will take before the assistant will see how much Agar is out of his depth, the first training session?

The very least fans can give back is our full support to Agar. Yes he has had a tough 18 months in the hot seat, but he seems to be equipping himself with the right tools that will help him succeed. Let’s wipe the slate clean and give him our full support for the new season. If after a the first 8 to 10 games things have not improved then I am sure Agar will be shown the door, he knows this but is standing up to the challenge imo. It would be pointless and childish imo for fans to continue to wish for his head over the off season and going forward into a new one, especially with the impressive additions we have made both on and off the field. |

We are a club in transition and Agar seems to be leading us in the right direction this off season, just hope he can deliver on the pitch.
