According to the stats of the game in League express he made somewhere in the region of 30 tackles and was also join top of the missed tackles stat.

Whenever anyone mentions stats supporting players, they're pointless and when they're offered in evidence against, they're meaningful.

You don't want to let "seeing" get in the way.

How many were effective and how many BIG hits does he miss? Also, how often does he break a tackle?

the standard of rugby in super league has moved upwards and onwards,but i'm afraid kingy has stood still and hasn't moved on.players nowadays,are too quick for him,and seem to just sidestep him most of the time,enabling them to miss the ''big'' hits.surely it will be last orders for him come the end of the season!just because he's a local lad doesn't automatically mean he should be here.it would be fantastic to have a team full of local talent,but it's no good if we are stuck at the bottom year in year out.we need to move on.

it certainly doesn't but if you compare this thread to the Sam Moa thread, where people are calling for him to be given a new contract based one having a good game, you all sound silly.

If this is the response Kingy gets for having a good game, i'd hate to see what the response is when he has a stinker.

The way i've see thing, Kingy has been given his first decent amount of game time since he's come back from a half a season out the game and gets slated for having a good game, cant the people of this forum say well done for once?

The difference is Moa isn't out and about pi55ed up the majority of his time.

He didn't have a good game. He had a half decent 10 minutes when the game was done and dusted.

Before and after that 10 minutes spell in the second half he yet again came charging out of the line to attempt a big hit only to miss his man. He also laboured into the tackle either side of that 10 minute spell.

The performance in that 10 minute spell should be the standard for the entire time he is on the pitch.

The blinkeredness of some is almost tangible at times.
