HISA will not work, it's whole existence is bankrupt now in the eyes of the current regeime. FCVoices does it's part, but as has been said, it wasnever formed as a fans pressure group.

There would need to be an entirely new organisation, with a written and publshed constitution, set of objectives etc. (and it would need to go beyond the objective of finishing above KR in the league or any such half d ideals). The people concerned would need, genuinely, to have the good of the club at heart as opposed to any self-serving agenda.

If someone wants to try and start such a groupd then I'll hapily get involved, on the proviso that we get written agreement from Kath and all of the other shareholders to meet on a shceduled basis, and for the meetings to allow a public attendance, and for the minutes to be taken by someone independent to both organisations, and published, IN FULL, within 24 hours.

In short, it will never happen.

FC Voices is pointless in my opinion.

We could have 7,500 people that think one thing, but the 6 or so members of FC Voices may disagree so not put our point across.

Regular Fans Forums is what's need.

That doesn't sound too bad actually. If enough people want to start this I would be happy to be involved.

Bearing in mind I can not do much before 8pm most weekdays due to work and the I am not the most popular person within the clubs heirachy.

I will volunteer to help set up, serve in some capacity anyone who wants to kick start the new HISA. We need to set up a sort of steering commitee that will organise a mass meeting say at Charleston.

Hutchie and the some ex leaders of HISA need to be involved with this group, Steve Roberts where are you ?

I can understand them not wishing to get too involved and it should be made clear that they will only be required to help kick start the group. Leaders and others will emerge from the meeting, I will be prepared to offer my services on the commitee if needed but within the problems I have with helping.

Have 7500 or even 75 people contacted FC voices on an issue on which they were agreed and had it ignored?

Just what would a fans forum full of people foaming at the mouth and demanding "kath out" "sack the board" and other such wittery actually really achieve? If it was twice as rational as some of the stuff posted on here, or aired on the radio post match it still wouldn't have a hope in hell taken seriously. You'd need a meeting with a few rational, level headed, but passionate supporters to pass the concerns of the majority on.

I know of atleast 4 members of FC Voices that come on here, there's plenty of people post on here which issues regarding the club.

We need to get a few people on board to help organise a meeting and natural leaders will emerge.

A draft constitution

membership costs and regular meetings set up

communcations between members and officers on a regular basis

The member ship will grow and then the club will have to talk and it should do so in its own right and not as part of an other group. Indeed I would expect that the club would make if "difficult " for any new organisation to join the FCVoices set up.

The last thing they see as being helpful at the moment is a fans pressure group, but if they think about it the new organisation could herald a new begining.

You're right Ian, which is precisely why Steve, Vince et al needto be nowhere near it, what did HISA ever achieve? (answers on the back of a stuck down envelope).

There is one thng to have the future of the club the heart, quite another to take pride in being the leader of the angry mob.

For example, what do people want HISA to be doing at the moment:

Campaigning for a higher league position?
Campaigning for a new coach?
Campaigning for better performances?

None of which will ever be achieved via a fans membership group.

What we need is someone with a genune interest in Hull FC beyond the balance sheet to make a genuine bid for the club, the world is full of pretenders I am afraid.

With all due respect, that is the last thing that needs to happen. The club dislike Karl so again the would make things difficult for any group he is visibly involved with.
