How do you work out thats its not enclosed from what youre quoting, it reads exactly the opposite to me. Rather than copying and pasting verbatim from the webpage why dont you explain to me your rationale cos im not getting you currently? |

To be honest, it seems clear enough to me. I don't reall see how you can say it's enclosed by that definition and thought posting the guidance was better than paraphrasing. If you think that's enclosed, would you like me to build you a similar style extension on your living room? I'm sure the people that get went when it rains would disagree with you too.

The stadium has a roof. That means enclosed doesnt it? A stadium like Craven Park with less than 50% of the seating/standing enclosed means it wouldnt be classed as enclosed. Every space where a fan sits in the KC has a roof covering it. How is the definition youve quoted saying anything different? My extension at home would need to be mostly covered by a roof to be classed as enclosed. I'd also have to operate a business from home for the smoking ban to be in place so highly irrelevant!  |

Smoking shelters arent allowed to be enclosed though are they? They arent allowed to haev 4 walls etc, the stadium has a roof thats partly enclosed and has a wall all the way around meaning its enclosed. I believe a smoking shelter must at most have 2 walls? Think we better agree to disagree, whatever happens its illegal to smoke in the KC cos they say so, whether it be by law of just by their choice. |

At the time that it came out I read a little on the smoking ban and there is no requirement for the pitch side of stadiums to be no smoking, however of course the owners of a property can choose to make it non-smoking.
It is right that smoking not be allowed in stadiums IMO, as you can basically be trapped for the duration of a match with a smoker and we all know the risks of passive smoking. So stadium management seem to have made a very sensible decision. Also I would imagine that it makes policing no smoking in the concourse easier for the stewards and less confusing for the fans. |

As i said earlier it depends on your interpretation of what an enclosed space is. I would interpret it as a stadium like ours is enclosed. |
