I have to agree fully with that statement !! we have all the cover we need right now for almost all positions but lets look at things with a clear mind . we have only one combination at 6 and 7 and that worries me as we will definately pick up knocks there so in my opinion the likes of Briers would be a decent squad addition even at his age and with his baggage! as someone said earlier he just might need a change of scenery butwho is to say he would want to come here??? I think TL has the ability but lacks confidence for some reason maybe its because he is in reality still very young?? I think we need in this order.1, Full back to replace Motu when he leaves. Hall as cover.2, A new Centre with G Horne as direct cover3, a replacement 6 or 7we dont in my opinion need any more forwards this season once Big L gets here as we will have too many at that point Who do we look for full back : Shaun would never come back here as his departure was awfully managed! and in reality in this country who is there left to go for??Centre : to be honest I think maybe its time for FC to say to RW this is your position lad , now get stuck in as he gives a great offload, IS NOT slow , tackles like a prop and more so has the height we lack in the backs for the deep kicks or how about talking to Kirk Dixon again who seems to have matured and certainly looks a decent player these days!
^ or 7: I think Briers would be a great squad member and a change of club after all these years at the Wire may be a tonic he needs and lets face it , when he is firing he looks world class! or again due to missing out on a SL Franchise maybe young Myler from Widnes would like to earn a decent packet??

To blame two is wrong we had our chances to win the game ..In a tight game like it was we should have took a 2 pointer when we had the chance I think we had at least 2/3 penalties in front of the post but we ran it ..its a team game so to me you are all to blame ..you could look to put the blame on the player who let the tries in

I think you may mean the Myler thats at Salford, I'm sure thats who we were interested in at one point, if so he's already playing Super League and likely to be earning not far off what we'd be willing to pay him.

As much as I agree with many on here, I do think Crocks would give us a huge amount of push up front. If he doesn't come this season, I'd far rather wait for him next season, rather than rush out and buy for the sake of buying. I'd be surprised if we could get hold of anyone at this stage who would bring us on as much as Michael Crocker would, and it would be a shame to lose that opportunity next year. I'd be surprised if we could bring anyone in this season that would put us in a position where we could consistently maintain a challenge with Leeds and Saints.

I think the loss of concentration against Cas shows we are far from the finished item, losing Michael Crockers services this season is not going to cost us a Grand Final win, but next season it might.

After last season a play off berth and a good run in the cup would be a great acheivement, notwithstanding a finish above the mob on poorhouse lane.
