In all seriousness, I don't wish to knock him. He'd be a decent buy for Celtic, Salford, Widnes or Halifax. He'd probably step straight into any of their 17 and do a reasonable job. That's a much higher standard than most will ever play at, but he's never destined to be a top class SL player. Or even a steady squad member at a top club.

Dont see why not in 3 years when Berrigan goes, Lee will still only be early twenties, he gets an unfair time on here.

As a 6 or 7 i agree, as a 9 i think he is good and if played there and developed there he would be become very good.

He's just not good enough with ball in hand. Compare him to every other young player in our first team squad and he's not as good currently, or as promising for the future, as any of them. If we had a fully fit squad, he'd be nowhere near the 17.

His distribution is fantastic, can pass accurately and at speed. Your judging him on last season when confidence was as low as it could be and had no runners.

As I said, he gets in the squad when we're really struggling with injuries.

He's never going to be a halfback as long as he has a hole in his arris. If Houghton, Berrigan and, in all probability Tony, were fit he'd not get near the number 9 shirt. He's not as good in the back row as Washy, Whiting, or Horne (G), and that's before you consider the new arrival(s).

Personally, I much preferred Peter Lupton as a player, and he wasn't considered good enough. Lee will end up in a similar position to Luppers.

Said early last season Lee's best chance of regular SL football was as a hooker at another club. I think he could make it in SL in that position but he wont get the opportunities enough here. Don't see any other position for him to shine in including second row.

Lee will play probably because our hand is been forced in that they should rest Berrigan in my opinion.

However he is not good enough long term IMO, he's had enough time to prove himself. Feel sorry for him as his commitment is there, its just natural ability.

I agree with the earlier posts that he would be good for top end first division side or a team like Celtic or Salford.

If fully fit I'd play him as he's one of our best players, however agree if not 100% don't play.
