You seen him play yet numbnuts..............this coming from the bloke who said Berrigan is "vastly over-hyped".

That's a tad unfair IMO. In 4 games he's had one half-decent pass and scored from it. Last night wasn't his best game and he made a couple of errors, but every pass he got in attack was behind him or while he was pinned on the touchline with no space to run.

Calderwood does everything we ask of him and if he gets a chance he has proven he will take it. We dont play the type of game currently that would allow him to play his natural game but im sure we will adapt as the season goes on. The stick he gets is out of order tbh

Agree, but do you think all wingers are too level with the centres, not coming on to the ball, think two passes last night went behind him????Raynor on the other hand does run on to the pass,(when he gets it)

I've seen Calderwood play for you guys twice this season and he is no different to the Calderwood Wigan let go - that is rubbish. Never backs himself in attack, rubbish under the high ball, but he is good defensively.

We just don't create any space to give him the chance to fly down the wing. When he gets the ball it is from slow passing down the line allowing the opposition to slide across to cover everyone.

We do seem to be hell of alot more creative when kicking near the line, and I would like to see some chips over the line in Calderwoods direction.

thorman and horne really have changed us for the better imo

IMO he's a liability... flicking the ball back in mid-air instead of just trying to catch it.. going to a Hudds player...

It was the right thing to do, the players inside of him should have hung back.

TBH the pass to him could and should have been better IMO.

If it had been Raynor people would be saying fair play to him for trying to keep the ball alive.

Whatever you say wont change my thoughts on him, poor player... he's still got a lot to prove...

Its a pity people cant just accept him as a good player and then change their minds if he lets us down. He has nothing to prove for me.

I've never liked him myself. In fact I used to despise him. That doesn't stop me actually looking at what he's doing and giving credit where it's due, though.

i agree i was one of those that wanted his smug head ripped off everytime he touched the ball against us .
But now its also true about not getting the service to show what he can do in attack..im so impressed with his defence nowadays its not pretty but its affective

I dont need to try it i have done plenty of time in the past... Im just saying his performances upto now dont warrant a first team posistion.. Soon as raynors back he'll be the first one out of him and Briscoe i would drop.

Im not saying he's a sh4t player... im just saying he's playing sh5t! I know what he's capable of....

I just feel the team dont have any confidence within him other wise he'd be getting a sh4t load more ball time.
