Spot on, I actually mentioned signing Lauaki a couple of years ago

And if Crocker does get here, then that would add more pressure on places, the best scenario would be :

How the hell can you give a opinion like that?.Moa is not even here yet and your writing him off already.Give the guy a chance and reserve judgement in a few months time.

Very pleased with this signing, we needed a beast to replace Carvell and now we've got one! Our pack has certainly shown promise in our first couple of games and with the addition of Lauaki we now have a great balance upfront. Like a few others have said though, I hope this doesn't mean the likes of Burnett/Washbrook/Houghton will get limited game time because we are gifted with some of the best young prospects in the league, and it would be a great shame to see their talent go to waste.

The young kids will get plenty of game time too hopefully. At the end of the day though if we needed to bring in this guy to be competetive im all in favour of a young kid dropping out of the squad. We will still have a huge percentage of our team born and raised in Hull anyway.

As ive said people seem to be expecting alot from Moa when they havent even seen him play most probably.

Like Hutch people was bigging him up, he didnt do anything, everyone turned on him.

Where as youre just predicting failure without seeing him play too!

My uncle in Australia has seen him a fair few times and i'll take his word

If the young kids are good enough they will play, I would be more worried if I was Manu and King.

Past seasons have shown that you cant have too many players.

Manu is having a dip in form, class is still permanent. King has a lot to be worried about though i think.

Quality over quantity, Infact it looks as though we have both for this season.

Fantastic signing.The guy is an absolute beast and if crocker manages to get here we will have arguably the best pack in the league.

I have no opinion on this signing as I have never seen him play. Or if I have, I've never noticed him.

Infront of Leeds, Warrington and Bradford? We would deffinately be behind Warrington and Bradford though.

I know people are saying Hame will play at prop but i personally think he will play at second row untill Crocker comes as whilst he is good down the middle if we can get him running out wide he will be devastating.

Plus we only need to play 1 prop on the bench given the engines on Yak and Dowes plus Radford playing as our 3rd prop from 13.

Yet you said he is more suited to prop? I would play him at prop were we have close to no impact at the mintue from any of our props.

I'd play him at full back and send Byrne and Tony home.

He is more suited to prop however i think it would benefit the team more to use him at second row untill Crocker comes.

So what if Crocker doesn't make it across?

I'd keep him backrow but once Radford needs a breather have Hame step up to be our 3rd prop with Manu coming on for Radford.

The point is he gives us valuable options from the bench, it's upto to RA how best to use him.

Washbrook??????

This is an excellent signing, he has international experience and is just the right age. He'll give us the biff that we need. If Crocker comes as well we look very strong.

So much for the lightweight pack.
