that one I don't know but something must have changed for him to consider a lower contract offer from Hull Fc

not much longer if i had my way. its good for no one. im willing to accept he is on his way. Hull are building a team for the future. manu or no manu its all good as far as im concerned

To be fair, I would like him to stay, but if he goes, he goes. Nothing I can do about it, apart from wish him well for the future (unless he plays against us). Would rather he stayed though.

I know he's getting on a bit now but surprised he hasn't got any interest from the NRL. Just watched the Knights-Panthers game from last week & if Mason + Newton can both get teams out there I reckon Many could for a couple of years.

yes he could cut it. thats not in doubt. but dont think he would get the final salary he can in superleague. plus i can see why he might think a move to saints would increase his chance of silverware over the next 2 years. their track record is very good and Nathan Brown is destined for greatness in my opinion. Hull are on the up but i reckon 3 more trophy less seasons for us before we are even genuine contenders.

I would imagine if true that this lower term contract offer is because bomber nailed one of PG's targets this week according to mate of mine.

I don't think Saints are any more likely than Hull to win something in the next 2 years, as Brown will want to change the squad and this takes time.

I'd say that Wigan, Warrington, Leeds and Catalan are more likely to win trophies in the next few years than Hull and Saints. I'd have included Huddersfield too, but they also have a change of coach coming up which may disrupt things.

He is, but even though he has been assistant for years (and you'd assume will carry on with the same style of play) there is still the chance the momentum Brown has built will be lost, or that some players may follow Brown to Saints.

Possibly, but Brown has apparently had full control over recruitment since he agreed to coach us next season.

Should get confirmation of Tickle's extension next and then Whiting.
