I would only release Berrigan if we have ready made top class overseas replacement for him (Halfback).

Not that he is non quota he is worth a lot more to Hull.

Releasing Berro now makes no sense unless he wants to go but this all got cleared up towards the end of the season. It's not like we need a quota spot but maybe we need to free some cap space for someone like Witt/Sammutt?

So from being a priority to bring in another half back, we've now decided we don't need one? I don't think westerman is the answer to our 1/2 back problems. I'm guessing they're moving burnett on and will sign phelps. Waste of time

We could of course be after a full back and moving Tansey up to cover at half back?

That thought did cross my mind, but I'm still a fan of Tansey at FB.

I would be happy with Burnett & Washbrook going out on loan for a season. Can't see washy getting hardly any game time and a halfback would easily still be a priority, even if we signed Monaghan i think we are still desperately in need some half back cover for 2011.

It would take the pi$$ if you were a Cas supporter but I would also pay a transfer fee for Richard Owen. perhaps a swap deal for Washy/Burnett and then we could keep tansey for HB cover. after him then my second choice would be Sammut

me too - of course with a bit more fine tuning & experience in that position then I think he will improve, particularly in cutting down on silly errors. he has got alot of talent no doubt

like i said in my previous post I would like us to sign a HB but failing that, sign a FB and tansey could be fairly decent cover for the halves

I honestly think most of his errors are because he's trying too hard to impress. Then once he makes more errors, he has more pressure to impress, and so the cycle continues. The best thing he can do to help himself is start well from the off and relieve himself of any pressure.

He will learn to cope with pressure with experience.
