Late 90's?

Any of those play for 3 decent SL sides before they joined?

90% of the players in SL are other teams cast offs if your gonna looka at it like that.

My definition of a cast off is someone who's on his 4th team by his mid 20's and never stays anywhere for more than a year or 2.

Players naturally move. If mathers is released then that's 2 clubs who have seen fit to get rid of him beofre his contract ended

Well Mathers is not doing any harm to Wire is he, playing well for them and they are 2nd in the league.

I believe there is only one player in SL era that isnt a cast off of some kind!!

I was thinking Senior but I then remembered he started at Sheffield

talking of past players , Peter Lupton is doing ok at present isnt he, looks like he has found some great form, always liked Peter but dont know why his nickname was "merrick"

Always thought Lupton had a good rugby brain and decent hands. Unfortunate with the timing of his injury and Brough taking his chance.

Agree with that. Always liked Luppo as a player, though he has been a tad injury prone over the years.

Definately, a natural scrum half who can cover stand off and hooker, would be a good signing.

I cannot see him being used or needed in first team by Saints.
Perhaps S Long could persuade him to FC!!

Would be nice but i would guess that Salford would be in the driving seat,
A full season for him to get used to the club and wouldn't have to move away from the area.
