i give up...its a waste of time posting on this forum as everyo....sorry most of the posters seem to know more about the game than the coach and have played better than the players ever have...........adios time for me to leave this as it depresses me reading all the negative

fizty is a great player and he can play for 80 mins but today showed that he should come of for say 10 mins or so each half like you said we had the forwards on the bench and when we were chasing the game it could of been ideal to shift westy at 13 with ticks and manu in backrow

I'm not sure, I think we need to have an official let's praise FC thread. It seems to be ok to post individual threads when we win about players contribution but not when we lose?

Every time someone says 'Agar isn't good enough', people say, 'Oh one game and you are slagging him off'. But I'm not. He's had a full season, and taken us backwards with dull, uninspired rugby. He's had a full close season. And after the first game, it's obvious we've not changed. We're still crap. Tactically we are rubbish. That's Agar's fault.

Granted we were good for the first 10 minutes, but thats because Rovers waited for us to reveal our tactics. When we had done that, they outplayed us. It was easy. And, they weren't very good really. We should have beaten them easily.

We were dire today but harsh on Westy I feel , when he came on he hardly got the ball but he did miss the tackle , just feel again its down to tactical genius -Agar

You are kidding. As good a player Long was, he can't do it anymore, and Turner isn't a 6. We should have pushed the boat out for Chase. I know Wigan or Warrington would have done. That's why they won the 2 trophies last season

I'm not convinced by Turner at stand-off, I've said as much several times. However, he and Long weren't our problem today. Far from it.

More of an embarrassment than our rugby? I think not.

I want to do something about it, if you don't, well that's your decision, go support rovers.

Been supporting Hull for 33 years, sunshine.

If you send that pathetically worded petition to the club, they'll laugh at it.

Agar is not good enough, a petition with a tiny number of signatures isn't going to remove him.

I am disappointed with the overall performance today. What have players being doing during the close season ?
I do not want to see anyone loose their job but in my opinion Richard Agar has to consider his future @ the club. I do not believe that one should give him 'x' matches before considering taking any action with regard to replacing the coach. I do not think that the club can wait any longer. I believe that he has had enough time already.
I cannot accept any further excuses from the players, coach or club, for the poor play in general, that we, as supporters have to watch [I know that they have already received most of our money, via the way of passes & I am aware that this is the first match.
Things have to change & change quickly in my opinion & being a pass holder staying away would not alter the club's finances.
