Never said it was anything I had heard, just what I think.
Whether Agar stays on or not I've got a feeling Moore will be our head coach next year.
Why else would a guy move from the other side of the world stating he's done it to be a head coach stay as Agars assistant? Unless he's got his eyes on the Bradford job?

Moore's around 50 isn't he? If he wants to be a head coach he will want to be doing it sooner rather than later. Maybe he's willing to drop down a division to get a head coach role

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out, with both Agar & Moore, personally I do not care as long as we get it right on the pitch.

Way too harsh and unfair! Just because Wolfie has a view regarding Agar that doesn't match yours you rubbish his friendship with the bloke. How is that not disrespectful?

Oh and before you accuse me of agreeing with a friend, I don't agree entirely with Wolfie's views on Agar, I am still undecided but he is allowed an opinion like the rest of us whether it's pro or anti Agar.

I do not actually understand why this thread is getting as personal as it is...clearly the camp is split so far, we all respect and understand each others stance..But the thing is we are doing well and things look good on the pitch, can't we just celebrate that for now and get behind the lads and coaches and see how it all pans out. Wolife raised a valid point about contracts, but as usual with a thread about Agar it turns into this

so far as I can see there haven't been any personal insults, just some people reading this in a way they were not written, mainly because it suits their agenda.

The simple fact is that the coaching TEAM appears to be working, but it's early days. IF I was making a decision now I'd say if we were signing the TEAM up for another two years I'd be happy, but not single elements of it, but, as I have said, it's too early.

It's not constant at all, just when he's going overboard about agar. Plenty of people jumping on my back last season when I was posting my opinion on agar and I didn't see the mods running around defending me

If people are really bigging Agar up or really slagging him off and people take umbridge to that and argue their point of view then fine I have no issue. I will simply give my opinion on what I feel regardless.

My point is the fact that Wolfie is his mate is a seperate thing and should not be the issue that is being debated.

But you could see how some people might think that his friendship with Agar might influence his opinion.
Just the same as wolfie thinks Standee and Jake dislike him and that influences there opinion on him.
I couldn't give a... TBH. Both sides are valid, Agar hasn't had his team for the last 18 months or so and the signs now are positive. Also there's a train of thought that he should of done better with what he had. Both fair assessments IMO.

Good post. Despite what anyone thinks, I'd love agar to prove me wrong and go on to be the most successful coach in the club's history. I'm sure everyone does.

FWIW, I don't dislike wolfie at all. I think the work he's done for horney and the steve prescott foundation are fantastic and shows what sort of guy he is. I just enjoy taking the pish but maybe have taken it too far so will cease forthwith

Tbh i think dennis will be getting well paid for the job of assistant and maybe quite happy to stay as that, assistant can be the best job sometimes as the buck stops with the head coach and also think the assistant will be the go between withthe players aswell were as head coach your not going to please everybody all the time

Ultimately a coach is judged on his results. Just because we have started well it doesn't mean the coach is worth a new contract. We need to see what happens when things arent going so well. Lets see what happens when Long is out injured and we cant just rely on him making things happen in attack for instance. Lets see where we are about June/July time before we decide if its working or not. In the meantime I have no problem with the club sounding out potential replacements should the need arise.
