Hang on. Vindicated
The former Gold Coast playmaker signed for the Robins in the off-season along with Maurice Blair, but Chester would be surprised if Kelly left Rovers before the end of his deal.
"Albert is a Hull KR player contracted for three years," Chester said.
www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-KR- ... story.html
Denied the existence of the get-out clause that's been the subject of such joy too. Pants on fire all over the shop here. Scenes.

| Quote ="Mild Rover"It's these little errors that draw us in, though innit?
The Mighty F90 was the master - got loads of bites by slightly and repeatedly misquoting Pearson, back when the latter's pronouncements were treated with somewhat greater reverence than now.
Our recruitment and retention has been, overall, pants the last few years, that's a fair point. 2008-11, we had some stability - too much some said, by the end of Morgan's reign. And we did need to rebuild - which we've now done 4 times in as many years. We're crying out for continuity as much as anything. Well, maybe not quite as much as at least one bigger backrower and probably a hooker, but nearly.'"
When the tiny f90 disappeared as if by magic Des Boreson appeared mmmm strange that

| It's like a marquee signing without actually using the marquee ruling.
Apparently a great role model off the pitch as well. Well done Motu.

Varying reports about both Pritchard and Inu, Inu especially (seeing as he's coming from French RU isn't he?) apparently very variable in his quality/approach to the game, if they both turn up and do as good a job as Minichello then they are quality accquisitions.
IF as some Australians have said they are hot and cold then maybe it's not that great a deal, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
One thing is for sure it's a good job the Aussie dollar has dropped hugely against sterling the last year or two because even with the sub from the doggies we'd not have being able to afford Pritchard and Inu.
Would we be paying Pritchard full whack for 2017 and 2018, if so does he become our marque player then?
Quote ="Dave K."I think it shows how much we have been over paying players that we can sign the quality of players we have for the ones leaving.
I think the winger will be a cheapish signing.'"
These are all Radford's signings or renewed contracts under him so the salaries are under his control aren't they so they can't have being overpaid can they?
Lineham was offered a decent wedge from what was written above, Rankin too, Micky P one of the top earners from all accounts, Cunningham on peanuts, Micheals probs not on huge amounts, Sa I've no idea but more than Micheals I would have thought. Don't forget Howarth too albeit on peanuts as well.
Does that add up to Taylor, Pritchard, Inu (if that indeed happens) Washbrook, again if it happens (hope not!), maybe if Yeaman is going to be on reduced terms that'll take a bit off but Naughton's improved contract would easily negate that even if Yeaman was offered a reduced amount.

32 is no age really though, it's a lot different to even ten years ago, isn't it?

35 year olds in SL are still few and far between. Some players are capable of playing at that age but far more have bodies that have given up by then

personally I don't think any decision should be based on age, we always say "if they're good enough, they're old enough" the same is true of players in mid 30's.

A poster said previously it was Radford telling TL him to sign his renewed contract, I couldn't be d to look at the exact timing of it.
As for Paea, it was June 2013 when it was announced, and all the good signings were under the instruction of Radford if all the Radford supporters will have you believe so as I said, none of these will have being overpaid right?

That was me, have no idea if it was true or not. At the time somebody posted that McRae offered TL a contract, Tom asked Radford if he should take it & was told he'd be stupid not to take the money. Like I say no idea if it's true or not.

It is true, I have posted that if it wasn't for ears TL wouldn't have even got a chance at FC, as PG & bomber wanted youngquest, just glad he signed the deal ears pushed for him, or we wouldn't be getting a fee for his departure, not many fees ship about in RL, so we have been a smart club for a change, rather lose a player for a fee then for nothing if they want to depart.

| Hi guys, I'm a supporter of the might Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs and wanted to give you guys a bit of information on Pritchard, who is looking likely to sign.
Pritchard is a fan favourite at the Bulldogs and has served us very well, joining the club at a time when we were down the bottom. He's also very popular within the team. Bulldogs have a large amount of Polynesian / islander players, and frank the tank acts as a role model for all the guys in the squad, and leads by example. Awesome bloke and real good player.
In 2014 he didn't play much, as he tore his pec muscle in round 3, he returned I think 2 games before the finals series. However, this season he is back to his best, running direct and running hard. Hes also a smart player who passes before the line occasionally. He will be a good signing for you guys, and I know I can't speak on behalf of an entire supporter base, but we definitely don't want to let him go.
Also, I've seen a post regarding inu, who also played for the Bulldogs. He has a pattern in his career, he will sign with a new club, kill it for the first season, be average in the second season, and eventually be kicked out in the third season. This has happened at the last 3 clubs he played for. He made the grand final with all three clubs, but all 3 clubs eventually told him to go elsewhere. Very rocks and diamonds type of player. Has a lot of physical strength and can do some freakish stuff, but can also be lazy

| Thanks mate, appreciate the information.
Both players would be fantastic additions. We have missed a player like Frank since Willie Manu left. And inu looks to be similar to Ritchie Barnett, who played for us over 10 years ago, but was fantastic in the short time he was here.
Fingers crossed they come off and best of luck to the Doggies this season!

| Quote ="Hull Daily Mail"Hull FC are moving closer to securing two major signings after stepping up their interest in New Zealand World Cup winner Krisnan Inu to accompany a deal for Canterbury Bulldogs NRL star Frank Pritchard.
While no deal has been finalised yet for Pritchard, the 31-year-old back-row forward is expected to arrive at the KC next season on a three-year contract that will be seen as a major coup.
And it has now emerged Pritchard could be joined in Hull by his former Bulldogs team-mate Inu, with the 28-year-old one of several high-profile targets for FC for the 2016 season.'"
