Possibly, but I'd rather we signed a prop rather than trying to fit round pegs in square holes. Lauaki needs to be running out wide where he's most effective, not barging up the middle. I don't mind Lauaki at prop to cover injuries, but not as a permanent measure. Like I said, it would seem an odd plan.

With Tickle, Manu, Lauaki, Whiting, Washbrook, Burnett in the squad (plus Radford and Fitz), the back row seems like the last area we should be looking to strengthen.

Not really an odd plan, Lauaki is a prop and has played his best rugby in the NRL there. He has asked to play there next season so maybe it's an option RA is looking at. Tickle and Manu would be starting backrowers but I am not sure Burnett is good enough yet to come off the bench each week, Whiting will never be a backrower imo, Washy would add little impact as a running backrower off the bench so we would need to replace Lauaki if he were to be moved to prop.

All the talk about a Hull back joining Rovers but nobody seems to have mentioned the Rovers back who could indeed join Hull and it'd be a big loss to us despite the fact he's hardly figured this year

Bloody hope not, the bloke might not be flash, but he is a 110% player who deserves another contract, certainly would not swap him for Hall if thats the intended happenings.

As a fan, I am more than happy with him, he scores a reasonable amount of tries, but its his other work I am impressed with, his defence is superb, he is so safe under high balls and his workrate at taking the ball up from acting half is great, he is an all round good player.

I know there are lots of rumours about Hall coming to us, but if its at the loss of Colbon I reckon we would have the worst of the deal, Cobon is unlikely to score long rangers with the pace of Hall, but I reckon he prevents more than he scores in defence.

What's rovers squad formation looking like for next season? I think under the new rules you have to have 8 club trained in your 25 man sqaud, maning only 17 non club trained. How many are already signed up?

May be why the hall rumours are rife as he probably counts as club trained as he was there before he joined Hull
