If you watch the Saints match highlights on FC live and Saints last two tries Griffin just couldnt be bothered and looked totally disinterested.
I would still play Wynne at left centre with Swift.Its a pity about Mitch as he has showed he is a very good defender and can make some metres.He kept Leutele quiet and not many centres can say that.

I agree Dave but is Hookem ready to come in against a top tough side like Wigan I don't think so IMO yet.

Why not played against Wakefield away and stood out in a heavy defeat and played for Whitehaven in a local derby.

When will he be ready, Dodd and Lewis were playing the odd game at his age.

Just see benefit long or short term playing Reynolds, been absolutely awful this season and not great last year.

The problem is that BH spoke about Hookem at the early part of the off season and said he hadn't realised how good Hookem was and could have played him more than he did. Yet now the season in underway and with the poor showing from the two main halves (performance & discipline) and with McNamara injured he has still yet to play Hookem and give him the opportunity he spoke about in the off season. Early season he was injured admittedly but he is now back fit so deserves a shot.

Unless both Gale and Reynolds up their all round game then we are in trouble in the halves plus and considering their experience their stupidity in the area of discipline has cost them game time as a partnership which in not good enough.

McNamara’s back problem is a worry in one so young. I’ve experienced slip discs etc and they take ages to recover from if ever. Once a bad back always a bad back.

I'm worried for him too. I damaged a disc when I was a teenager and never recovered. Hopefully Benny is getting better treatment than I got.

you may be right but surely if we have another injury and Bowden plays he is hardly the difference to us winning against Wigan.
Seems crazy the club have not let him go if they had a genuine offer from Featherstone.
Need to be getting these fringe players of the books particularly the underperforming ones like Bowden

Hookem isn't in the squad

Most people shouting out for hookem to play , how many of you have seen him play . Happens all the time on here , a certain. Few mention something then everybody else jumps on it . Really want to Chuck him in , against a top team like Wigan . It could put him back a long time . It’s not as though our half’s are out . The coaching staff will know when he’s ready , that’s if he ever will be .
