| Warrington need to be travelling at lunchtime there's no reason not to. I'd be extremely annoyed if SMC don't get their harris's into gear early doors and make the area safe, surely that is what we pay for?
My train is cancelled but the hour late train to Leeds is here soon, hopefully not too long a wait at Donny as it's bloody freezing there!

This has been the problem in the past. City are away at Ipswich so no chance of a clash but with the game now on Sky they will make extra effort to get in on.

I think your right. SKY will want a game to show. Remember our infamous game in the fog at Saints!

| The KCom pitch has under soil heating which has been on all week so there shouldn't be a problem as far as that is concerned but the concern is whether Warrington will be able to make the trip over the Pennines.

| The current forecast (for hull) is no more snow, but no real thaw either.
So it looks like nothing much will change in the next 36 hours.

Big difference between the pitches though as KCOM has under soil heating so the pitch shouldn't be frozen and would think the pitch at caravan park will almost certainly be frozen in places hence concern for player welfare.
Though if the temps are not any higher tomorrow night it certainly could be classed as not putting player welfare first.

I can understand every effort being made to get the game on - not that long since we had that random mid week game and it definitely creates as disadvantage. That said if we lose, as looks a strong possibility with several players out, we'll say it should have been called off.

| The pitch might be playable and the walkways safe, but as I get older watching rugby in arctic conditions becomes less and less appealing!
Let's play them midweek in Summer with Danny Houghton back!

Same. Getting fed up of shivering all the way through a match at Kcom.
As things stand the M62 is closed and other travel is seriously affected.
Consideration must surely go to how Warrington and their fans can get here safely and also get home tomorrow night after the game?

As long as the team can get across I doubt whether the powers that be will give a monkey's about travelling supporters.

| No doubt the consideration for fans attending the game come way down the list compared to Sky having a live game to show.
I know the club will have corporates booked in, etc, but it's going to be a pretty miserable night if it's as cold as it is at the moment.

| Currently forecast to be dry but feeling like minus six degrees with gusts of around 30mph.
Not going to be a classic game, lets face it.
The forecast is pretty similar to Leeds who have already postponed their game and who also have undersoil heating. Leeds will get an advantage ahead of next week game with a week to prepare and recover from injuries.

Don't think Leed's under soil heating has worked for ages. The M62 is still closed because of high winds and wagons blowing over

| Hull FC can confirm that tonight’s fixture against Warrington Wolves is expected to go ahead as planned at the KCOM Stadium, kick off 7:45pm.
The club have been working closely with the Stadium Management Company throughout the week in preparation for the game, with the pitch and surrounding areas at the stadium not a concern.
Hull FC have also been in dialogue with Warrington Wolves, the RFL and Sky Sports with all parties keen for the game to go ahead as planned.
Due to the recent adverse weather conditions, it is the advice of both clubs that any supporters looking to travel any distance to the game that they allow extra time and take additional care on the roads.
The clubs are aware of the current closure of sections of the M62 and are monitoring the situation with the Highways Agency, whilst the majority of routes in Hull and the surrounding area are clear.
It is advised that supporters also keep themselves updated on highways closures/re-openings by checking online and social media.
Warrington Wolves’ official supporters coaches are still scheduled to leave the Halliwell Jones Stadium at 3:30pm.

Its the surrounding area of Headlingley which causes issues, St Micheals Lane etc where many would try and park up.

The Headingley under ground heating is fully operational - see Leeds RLFC Website and YEP which reads:
Rhinos had been confident earlier in the week the game could beat the weather, but heavy overnight snow into yesterday meant they were fighting a losing battle. Emerald Headingley has undersoil heating which means the pitch would have been playable, but other areas of the stadium could not be cleared.Hetherington said: “The pitch is covered in snow at the moment, but it would be okay.
