I always thought an April Fools joke had to be at least a little bit believable. Or at least funny. The 'Super Duper League' one in Standee's link is just crap. Whoever thought of it should be beaten to death with Willie Mason's chin.

Mrs28 has just emailed me about the unions at her work going mental over a "proposed" £3 a day charge for parking in the office carpark. The local convenor has been jumping up and down more about this than over more serious issues and the head of the department has had to gently remind him of the date. the easy ones are sometimes the best.

Got my dad this morning telling him only 2 clubs had been asked to submit paperwork for 2012 franchises "Hull KR and Wakefield" and with Wakesfields move to Barnsley looks like it is Rovers for the drop. Also added a nice point about the floodlights being a factor, hook line and sinker

As for April fools, Barsleys was a cracker, solar panels on the roof of the stands, to power the offices etc "the reds will turn green"
As for the idea, Rovers could harness this, it might stop a third floodlight failure.... |
