I was talking about him today to guy at work who's a huge city fan, even he's having second thoughts about him now. I think he's totally underestimating the people of Hull if he thinks people are going to fall for his tactics.

He knows nowt. He said he'd offered KR the chance to play at the KC without asking FC, but if he'd read the user agreement he'd have discovered that both City and FC have a veto on other clubs playing there.

The guy sounds somewhat unhinged, although people don't generally accumulate that amount of wealth if they're not pretty bright.

The very worst thing that could happen is that guy getting his hands on the KC Stadium.

The council must resist his PR stunts and keep it for the people of Hull.

I think he wants he sees as being best for the City as a whole, it's just that his opinion of what's best is far of the mark compared to those of the rugby fans. Speaking to a couple of City fans that don't have a rugby team, they can't understand the fuss tbh.
