Thought it was pretty even, they were better first half us 2nd, last 20 minutes we made yards for fun, but as usual we failed to take advantage.

Apart from their try's, which were on the back of penalties they never looked like scoring.

Our attack is obviously perfect then, if you can't see it's our attack has been a problem this season, you haven't been watching many games, even against rovers our attack wasn't that good.

Certainly better with miller and holdsworth, but still needs work and needs to be at its best if we want to win on Saturday.

Our usual problem is set plays near the opposition try line. We just never look like scoring when we're down there.

But we are really good at picking up on opposition errors / breakaway tries from our own half.

Jesus....talk about a bite and seen all home games,some away games and the televised ones and yes our attack has been bloody awful at times.The rovers game i think we played it cute....down the middle in 1st hlf..tire them out,then bang bang bang in 2nd half and game was won.....Rovers attack is supposed to be far superior but we have more pts now in attack.

Weve scored less points thank Wakey, who have a game in hand too, also less than Widnes

Always points to 1 thing.. If injuries never occurred to Horny or Holdsworth both of which were out of action for most of season.

Would we of had more points then now?? Yes you can say injuries play a part in rugby.. But without your creative players, what can you do??

Same with Wigan and tomkins.. They struggle to win without him.

We obviously are now playing a tight game built on safety first and defence. The attack needs to improve next year but the way we're playing at the moment we are hard to beat. Hopefully that will last one more week at least.

They weren't [ifar[/i better. They were decent and completed and kicked superbly well. Hope we do the same next week. They had mountains of possession and scored twice. Credit to our defence which again we'll be needing next week.

Thought the way Crookes dealt with the high ball was encouraging.

Salford looked to bombard him and Shaul and they both soaked everything up, very promising. Shaul looked as though he didn't want to run it in, but I guess maybe Gentle wanted Crookes to put a good shift in with him not playing for a while so instructed Shaul to give the ball to him whenever possible.

He did indeed. He played well generally.

Shaul offers so much and shouldn't be dropped, but not to play McDonnell would mean an awful lot of salary cap in the stands.

Personally I think that a bit unfair. Their loaded owner came in this season. Their season is dead and has been for months. They haven't had a decent following for over 20 years. Credit to those who did turn up.
