Probably the most powerful and positive words ever to come out of Hull FC. We need to champion the man and the club and try to re-engage any supporters who have fallen away over recent years. To let them know that this is going to be ride worth getting on at the beginning. Adam has openly asked us to back him and we should do all we can to get all persons of B&W blood down to the KC (and any just making up their mind about RL) I certainly will be selling the merits of getting on board with club in what should be a great journey, one not to be missed.
Like Wilf I think something has stung Adam, and he feels the need to react, to connect with the fans and reassure us on a number of things. Such a positive statement of intent coming out of yesterdays Briscoe news is a rallying call that we can all get behind. Out of adversity..............A true leader shows his worth.

Jimmy Rule - Alistair Campbell!!

In all fairness he was probably just following Kath's orders. I don't mind Rule as he's a young chap who's clearly very talented at overseeing various aspects of our operation, look at the Grade A licence for instance (I know he's not the only one involved in this achievement though).

I always feared Rule just didn't have the contacts in Rugby League....maybe this is one of the reasons our hero hired McRae.

AP has always been, as I have said before, an ambitious man of great integrity, yes he likes to make money, but he sure as hell seems intent on us all enjoying the ride.

Firstly; sycophantic, propaganda, and culpable.

Secondly, people outside of the club have no idea for certain whether Rule is how you described or simply wasn't listened to. I think there are many who unfairly hold an association with the people he happened to be employed by against him. The fact is, he came to the club as a marketing man, and on that side we're one of if not the best in the league, as shown by our income.

I just hope that if Rule does stay in his position fans finally start to consider that he might be good at his job and an asset to the club, instead of just wanting rid because he's a reminder of Kath Hetherington.

JR was brought in as Chief Executive not as purely a marketing man. How can you say he is good at his job when he has being at the helm of an organisation that has performed so poorly over the last few years, he has lied and misled the fans and come out with endless spin. Any other business his feet wouldnt touch on his way out.

I hope they send this statement out with advertising for the season pass this year. I'm sure a lot of fans, who may not look on the website, will read that statement and be persuaded to give the club another chance. The success may take a few seasons to achieve but those moments are going to taste so much sweeter after the continual disappointment over the past four seasons. I can’t wait for next year already. When are passes on sale by the way?
