Because he's pi$$ed off at not having a gig next season? In any case I didn't say that he was lying, but he many not necessarily be telling the whole story either. He was employed on a 1 season contract so unless he was given a reason to believe it would be extended why would he be surprised at receiving written confirmation? Maybe he had a face-to-face meeting and just hasn't mentioned it? There are any number of possible scenarios not excluded by his tweet but everyone seems to have jumped to the worst one.

Wane may have watched him in International games, he certainly looked a different player when playing International to the one we mainly saw at FC!

Maybe they'll turn him back into the "monster in the fog" we had at the start of 2010 and decide that the penalties he'll give away are worth it.

That will leave Liam Kent and Mike Burnett the only people OOC (excluding Lauaki who's more or less confirmed at Wigan)
