meli would be a good signing but i know some saints fans, and they see the guy week-in week-out and they are glad he's goin...saying he is lazy etc etc....but id defo take him if he was non-quota as others probably would

Wouldn't sign Meli, 31 now, getting more injuries and would be a waste of a quota spot (which we don't have anyway) on a winger.

i can see your point but with centres and wingers hard to come by i think meli would be a an improvment on our squad and gives us a big strong fast winger. but he does have his faults aswell, like i say quota anyway but think we should go for better, but he would be an improvement on what weve got

exactly..they are so hard to come by....you say go for better, but can you name any realistic availble options...

i would like us to go for a younger better 3 quuater but i understand that getting quality overseas players to come over here is getting harder and harder and meli would be an improvemnet on what weve got.

Would Danny Orr be such a bad choice as a back up half? He is a proper scrum half (albeit not a great one) or would we be better using a youngster like nicklas or williams?

luke robinson can play both scrum half and hooker and let berro go. id promote both nicklas and williams

I would love Robinson at the KC but would he want to leave Hudders (although I seem to remember seeing an episode of the SL show saying when he was at Salford he would love to play for Hull) and could we afford him on the salary cap?

They've got tonnes of playmakers, sure they could spare one.

Robinson is very over-rated........All he does in run sideways along the line and drops a pass inside to a runner.........just doesnt do it for me.

Hope so they seem to be very greedy with their playmakers, have always rated Robinson think he is a very good player and a proper scrum half.

Must admit I'm not a big fan either, but better back-up at half back than Washy IMO.

Whiting is a better back up than Washy,Turner is,Tansey is,Nicklas is,Berigan is,even Hall would be better.

Heard from a very reliable source yesterday that Hull are after a winger and a second rower and that will be their recruitment over for next season. Radford is moving up to prop permanantly and Dowes expected to sign a deal shortly.

We need 5 props and with Radford, Dowes, Ogre and Moa we have four, maybe Lauaki will be used as a prop next year giving us the 5 we need and therefore we will need backrower to replace his spot on the bench?
